Who We Are
At NOUS LES ANIMAUX, we firmly believe that all living beings deserve to be treated with respect. Vegan by conviction, we oppose cruelty and animal exploitation in all its forms. We thus support antispeciesism both in its foundations and in its tangible applications. Moreover, it is in a perspective of combining the gesture with the thought that NOUS LES ANIMAUX was born from the head, but also from the hands, of the Montreal jeweler Éliane-Catrie Blouin Achim. Having adopted a vegan lifestyle for several years, and eager to get involved in favor of the animal cause, she took her reflection a little further by questioning her ways of doing things and her ability to awaken consciousness through her creations. Through the choices of species that she has decided to represent, she therefore wishes to denounce the speciesism of which certain animal species are victims on a daily basis.
